Kastrup is a Danish manufacturer of high-quality, high-performance, timber and aluminium-timber composite windows and doors.
With Kastrup windows, the outside of the window frame is faced with aluminium, powder coated in the colour of your choice. This provide a tough, easy-clean finish which can last a lifetime with just a little simple maintainance.
The inside of the window is solid wood, giving a beautiful, warm and natural appearance which enhances your home.
Kastrup Windows are available with double glazing or triple glazing.
History of Kastrup Windows (Kastrup Vinduet)
Carsten Kastrup trained as a carpenter and building engineer, and gained a degree and experience in the construction industry from timber merchants and window and facade factories respectively, working as a sales export manager and then a CEO.
In 1995 Casten founded his own windows company in the Danish town of Holstebro, naming it Kastrup Vinduet.
In 2001, a new division was created to manufacture Wood-Aluminium windows in a factory in Skive. Another factory was added in 2009 to make solid timber windows.
The company has become renowned for high-performance, eco-friendly windows with sustainable slow-growing Scandinavian timber at a reasonable cost.
