Side Doors and French Doors.
These doors use the same system as the windows, but with the addition of door thresholds, upgraded locking system and the option of solid panles instead of glass.
Sliding Doors
Kastrup timber/alu Sliding doors are easy to open, sliding on durable stainless steel wheels on a rail beneath the door. They are available with double or triple glazing. With a 3 lever locking system and an additional
closing point in the middle of wide frames, the doors
comply with Class 4 in air permeability and Class
E900 (900Pa) in resistance to water penetration,
which is well above industry guidlines.

Kastrup Timber
Kastrup only use highly finger-jointed and largely knot-free heartwood, which lifts the product to a higher level. Finger-jointed timber ensures that there will be negligible warping or movement of the wood that could compromise the windows over the the lifespan of the product. The pine itself comes from slow-growing Scandinavian forests. Solid oak is also available as an extra-cost option.
The timber is lacquered, stained or painted to suit your taste. The timber is coated with the Azko Nobel Industrial Coating System, which provides high levels of protection and durability with a beautiful finish.
Kastrup Aluminium
The aluminium is pre-treated and powder-coated to provide a tough and long-lasting finish. The aluminium pre-treatment follows a 12-step chromate process to DIN50.939. It can be coated in a wide range of Fiji and RAL colours plus Futura, metal and anodised surface are available.
Double or Triple Glazing
Kastrup doors are available with double glazing, but many of our customers choose triple glazing for better thermal efficiency and sound insulation
